Welcome to 3rd Grade!

This will be my third year teaching at Lisa J. Mails Elementary School. I graduated from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Special Education, and I recently earned my Master’s Degree in Learning and Technology from WGU in the spring of 2023. Although I loved living and teaching in Georgia for 5 years, I had my heart set on coming back and teaching in my hometown. I am so happy to work at this incredible school and be a part of the Monarch family!

I grew up in Murrieta and attended Alta Murrieta Elementary, Warm Springs Middle School, and Vista Murrieta High School. Volleyball has always been a big part of my life, and I played both indoor and beach volleyball in college at Mercer. Outside the classroom, I love traveling, going to the beach, camping, and spending time with my family and friends.

My goal is to create a learning environment that your child looks forward to each day. I aim to provide an engaging, challenging, and creative curriculum to help each student reach their fullest potential. I’m excited to foster a love for learning in our classroom and appreciate your support in making this a fantastic year!
