Dear Parents and Students:

Welcome back to the new school year! I am planning and anticipating a year filled with challenge, learning, and excitement. I am looking forward to being your child's 3rd grade teacher and am happy that you found our classroom website.

We have a great year planned for 3rd grade, full of learning and fun!  We will be using the Canvas website for a lot of our learning and communication, so make sure you check it out once you get your login information.

Our class will be involved in many diverse activities. Students can help to ensure success by being equipped, organized, and prepared. Be sure to check out our classroom supply list.  These are all of the materials you will need to be ready for learning each day.  I will address any additional items we might need at back-to-school night. 

Please take the time to look through this website so that you can become familiar with what it contains.  I would also love for you to email me with any email addresses you would like me to use so that I have your email address on file.  Most of the information I pass on to you is through email.

I want students to leave the classroom and be successful at school and in life. I expect them to become productive and self-directed. I would like to see an academically strong and enjoyable year for all students. Through student, parent, and teacher involvement, all students should succeed.
