Community Service Requirement
- Community Involvement is a core requirement for NHS membership; it is NOT merely a high GPA- based organization.
- NHS students are ALSO required to participate in ONE NHS sponsored or offered community service event.
- Community Service Project Log Sheets can be picked Mrs. Taufer in Room 723.
- It is your responsibility to make sure that you complete and turn in this log sheet to maintain your NHS membership.
Animal Friends of the Valleys Animal Shelter:
Volunteer orientations are held the first and third Wednesdays of each month from 5 to 6 p.m. volunteers must complete the online application form BEFORE you scheduling themselves for orientation on the Volunteer Calendar . They can choose the Wednesday orientation date they want to attend and click the sign up button.

Volunteers need to go pick up a volunteer form then return it to the front desk once completed.
