2020-2021Welcome to Murrieta Valley High School! We encourage all students to join a team, club or organization to enrich their high school educational experience. Over two hundred Murrieta Valley High School students are involved in our student government program providing leadership and representing the student body as elected officers, student senators, Link Crew leaders, PLUS leaders, Nighthawk Pride Leaders and class representatives.The Student Leadership at MVHS has earned the Outstanding Student Activities Program Award for exemplary leadership, service and activities from the California Association of Directors of Activities (CADA) and the California Association of Student Leaders (CASL) twenty consecutive years! Additionally the National Association of Student Councils (NASC) has recognized the Student Council in it's Gold Council of Excellence ten years in a row.Student Leadership strives to create a memorable, exciting and fun high school learning environment through planned activities throughout the year, from dances to educational and thought-provoking assemblies. In addition, students are exposed to democratic elections, regular meetings, leadership training opportunities and active participation in their state and national student council associations. Students organize teacher and staff appreciation activities, student recognition programs, school and community service projects, spirit activities.
Murrieta Valley High School offers a large variety of clubs on campus that meet during lunch, before and after school. A Club Information Day is held during the first semester of each year where students can meet club members and sign up. The daily announcements and daily Activities Bulletin contain information on meeting dates and club activities.
