Welcome, Nighthawks!

This is my twelfth year of teaching and my fourteenth year in education. I have previously taught both English and Social Science spanning grades 7th through 12th. This is my eighth year at Murrieta Valley High School and I love being a part of the Nighthawk family! I love teaching IB History and am a passionate historian and avid reader. I am also the CAS and Extended Essay (EE) coordinator for the IB diploma program.

Personally, I love spending time with my family. My husband of 10 years and I have a 20-month-old daughter, Kennedy, and two fur babies, Buddy and Rudy. On the weekends, we can be found spending time with family and friends. When I'm not with my family or friends, I enjoy crafting, reading, going on walks, and cooking. I am looking forward to another amazing year!
