    AP Exam Payment Information

    Taking the Advanced Placement exams is an important part of all AP courses. Scoring well on an AP exam can often earn students college credit for their high school class, saving a significant amount on college tuition.

    Parents and students must both be present while registering to ensure that the correct exams are ordered. There are 2 steps to register for an AP Exam. 

    If both steps are not complete, the test will NOT be ordered.

    Step 1: Add the AP Classroom of the course.  You will use the Join Code provided by your AP teacher and indicate that you would like to take the exam.

    PAYMENT PLAN OPTION: Families who would like to utilize the payment plan option may do so by making a deposit of $40 per exam by November 1stThere is a $2.25 charge per exam for payment plans.  Final payments are due by March 8, 2023. No refunds after Mach 8. 
    (Late fees are non-refundable)

    CANCELLED EXAMS: Any student who requests to cancel an exam (including Free and Reduced) after November 11th will be charged a $45 non-refundable fee.

    FINANCIAL AID:​ Fees for AP Exams are reduced to $9 for low-income families. To request a fee reduction, the student must present a copy of the District APPROVED letter for Free and Reduced lunch and a completed Student Eligibility Form to ncastro@murrieta.k12.ca.us. Meal applications for Free or Reduced Price Meals are available at the Murrieta Valley School District Nutrition Services Department website Online Meal Application (murrieta.k12.ca.us). Approval of free/reduced meal applications may take up to 10 days.​ All late and cancellation fees will apply to Free and Reduced Lunch students, per the calendar schedule above.
