We haven´t woken up yet. | The perfect tenses are compound verb tenses, which means they are formed using two verbs. The first verb is the auxiliary, or helper verb, HABER. The second verb is any verb in its past participle form. El presente perfecto, or the present perfect, expresses actions in the recent past. The definition of recent past varies by country but tends to be for things that have already happened today. It is used to express the idea that someone has already done something. An example in English is “have, has eaten” To conjugate, use the present tense of HABER-to have, and the past participle of the second verb HABER-to have
