    MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Murrieta Valley High School Visual Arts Department is to educate and train students in preparation for higher education, careers and a life-long involvement in the arts. The mission is fulfilled by offering a comprehensive curriculum and providing opportunities for students to exhibit their talents through art shows, contests, and related events. By the efforts of a highly qualified and dedicated staff, students will develop as artists and scholars in a challenging and respectful environment. The arts at MVHS will be visible, innovative, creative, and accessible to all students, thereby, becoming an integral part of the intellectual and cultural life of the high school and the community at large.
