    Hello Nighthawks!
     
    I am very excited about being a teacher at Murrieta Valley High School!  I have been a teacher for over two decades, and I have a passion for education in all ways.  I am especially grateful for the opportunity to teach right here in Murrieta where I live! I graduated from the University of California Riverside with a Bachelor's in English Literature and a credential for teaching English. I also attended National University and earned my Masters in Educational Administration with a Tier 1 Admin Credential.   
     
    I enjoy many outdoor activities during my free time, including: surfing, snowboarding, running, hiking, rock climbing, spelunking, rafting, and mountain biking.  One of my favorite things to do is ride my mountain bike to school!  
     
    I spend my summers with my husband and two boys at our cabins on the Metolius River in Camp Sherman, Oregon.  Each  year we do some great exploration and have exciting adventures!  I enjoy both sports and competition, and I love integrating them into the classroom climate. This is going to be a wonderful year of learning, growing, and reaching new heights in school.  My hope is always to engage, inspire, and support students in their learning journey.
