Please check out a Calculus book and a PreCalculus book before Friday.

 

For the summer assignment, we will focus on five things.

 

1.  Review some limits  =   Calculus book page 128 # 1, 5, 10, 11ab, 13, 17, 33, 35

2.  Review some derivatives   =Calculus book page 181 #2, 8-10, 12, 28, 31, page 228 # 1, 2, 8, 18, 19, 25, 40, 59, 60

3.  Review some integrals  = Calculus book page 408 # 6, 9cd, 11, 12, 27, 28, 32, 34, 41, 66, 81, 84, page 441 #5, 8, 29

4.  Unit Circle:  Study it, know it, if you need a refresher look over these five slides http://www.coolmath.com/precalculus-review-calculus-intro/precalculus-trigonometry/28-the-unit-circle-01.

5.  Vectors = read sections #6.3 & 6.4 in the PreCalculus book and do page 458 #31, 35, 43, 46, 63, 67, 70, 77, 78

 

There will be a quiz on the first or second day of class.  It will be worth about 15-25 points or so.
