 Learning languages will open doors and create many new friendships.  I met my wife while I was speaking Spanish in southern Florida in 1989 (We were married in 1991).  My five children are all enjoying languages: 2 speak Russian; one is majoring in ASL / Deaf Studies, one loves Japanese and toured Canada this summer with her university choral group, and the "baby" of 18 likes French and Italian.  Let language learning/acquisition build pathways into people's hearts☺.  Long live the love of people and of languages that unite us!

The Crookshank family has 3 orange cats and a Cockatiel named Ruffles that can sing the Star Wars theme.  I like to play tennis and go rollerskating at Epic Rollertainment.  My wife and I toured Utah, visited my 1st grandchild, camped at the beach for a week and explored the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.  We also enjoyed hosting 2 Vietnamese and two Japanese students this summer and learned a few words. Finally, I love talking to people and learning from their experiences.  Hopefully, our paths will cross and we can share some positivity outside the classroom and the campus!
