Dear Shivela Middle School Community,

As we step into the 2024-25 school year, I am excited about the incredible growth opportunities awaiting us at Shivela Middle School. This year let’s strive to elevate our achievements academically, socially, and culturally.

Our collective goal is to support each student’s growth, and I encourage us to work together toward this shared vision. My commitment is to help every student reach their full potential during their time here. I will lead with passion and determination, continually pushing myself to improve, and setting an example for staff and students. Remember, the path to success often involves setbacks, and willingness to embrace challenges is key to achieving greatness.

Parents, your partnership is crucial. By working together as a team, we can build a brighter future for our students. When students see that we are united, they understand that accountability and support go hand in hand. Let’s focus on a common goal: the growth of each individual student. Recognize that each student’s journey is unique, and our approach, guided by the Panther L.I.F.E. and the Panther P.A.T.H. (Pursuing Achievement Through Hard Work), will be tailored to their individual needs.

Our dedicated teachers are the backbone of our school, and their perseverance is vital. Remember, “Grit is passion and perseverance for long-term goals.” We are in this for the long haul, and while the journey may be challenging, patience and persistence will guide us. When faced with difficulties, grit helps us keep moving forward and stay committed, even when the going gets tough.
