Class Work and Participation

Everything we do in class will be collected at some point, so you MUST keep all assignments. If you are absent, it is your responsibility to find out what you missed AND to complete those assignments.

*Participation is an integral part of learning a foreign language and therefore attendance and involvement are very important.

Homework

Expect to be speaking Spanish every class period and throughout your day to improve your conversational Spanish. No late homework accepted except in the case of an excused absence (extenuating circumstances may apply). You will create homework logs to record assignments. Homework is 10% of your grade. It is beneficial that you pay attention when we go over homework so that you are best able to learn and grow from mistakes.

 ACADEMIC HONESTY STATEMENT

Academic dishonesty includes but is not limited to: cheating, copying from other sources, using online translators, and/or turning in work done by another student. Students caught cheating or copying will receive a zero for that assignment and/or a referral to the office. USE OF AN ONLINE TRANSLATOR EQUATES TO CHEATING. There are no exceptions!!
