    Information provided by Fair Test

    According to The National Center for Fair and Open Testing more than 60% of 4-year colleges and universities in the U.S. will not require applicants to submit ACT or SAT scores for fall 2021 admission. The National Center for Fair & Open Testing (FairTest), which maintains a free, online master list, reports that 1,460 schools are now test-optional. The federal government recognizes 2,330 bachelor-degree institutions.

    Colleges and Universities Temporarily Waiving ACT/SAT Scores for Fall 2020 Admission ONLY

    August 17, 2020: The NCAA has waved the SAT/ACT testing requirement for incoming Division I and II athletes who plan to enroll full time in the 2021-21 academic year and play a sport.
