Is the PSAT still relevant?  It is hard to say.  The PSAT is a test to prepare students for the SAT.  The SAT is no longer considered for admission for the University of California or for the California State University college systems.  Currently there are over 2070 colleges nation wide that offer test-free admission or are test optional.  Please look here for a list of those colleges: Click Here

There are reasons to take the SAT.
