Tardy Policy

Tardy Policy ~ Being in class on time is the first important step to academic success.  Overall, most students do an excellent job on a daily basis getting to class on time and ready to learn.  We did find, however, that some students did not take this as seriously as needed as the first semester progressed.  We will continue our policy of students receiving an after school detention if they are tardy 3 times in any one week.

In addition, we will now be conducting random tardy checks at different times of the day and week.  If students are late to class during one of these tardy checks, they will serve lunch detention that day, of if it's after lunch they will serve break detention the following morning.  Our hope is this more immediate consequence will help change the habits of some of our students.  If your child is given any of these consequences, you will receive a message from the school later in the day.
