The Guaranteed Admission Program- MOU has changed!!
The Alliance Requirements are now as follows:
Apply to CSUSM
- Attend high school for 4 years (doesn’t have to be our school district)
- A-G courses completed
- Graduate with an overall 3.0 GPA
- Complete the FAFSA or California Dream Act Application (CADA) (this is new)
- Must meet a category 1 or 2 on both the math and English multiple measures.
- No SAT/ACT requirement

FAMILY ALLIANCE COMMUNITY EXCHANGE
Spring 2022 February 15- April 19 | Tuesdays, 6:00-7:30 pm Virtually
- 8-week program called FACE (Family Alliance Community Exchange) focused on 8 Habits of Mind.
- The Habits of Mind are essential skills characterizing successful individuals such as curiosity, creativity, responsibility, and persistence. When families and educators create environments fostering these habits and when youth understand how to react in challenging situations, they learn how to be successful in academics, career, and life.
- Available in Spanish and English.
ALLIANCE COLLEGE LINK MENTOR PROGRAM
Students are paired with a Peer Mentor (CSUSM Alliance upperclassmen) and receive guidance one-on-one starting in the summer before they enroll in courses for the fall semester all through the end of their freshmen year (June-May)
- Students receive support with the transition from high school to college on the following:
- Completion of college matriculation (ex: submission of official high school transcripts, AP/IB scores, immunizations, etc.)
- Topics inherent to student success (ex: Academic planning, building community with CSUSM, scholarships, internships, the power of networking, communication with professors, etc.)
