Welcome to 8th grade science.  I am Mr. Anderson.  I have had the privilege of teaching here at McElhinney since the school opened.  I have spent most of that time teaching 8th grade science and Algebra 1 with a couple years in 7th grade and a class of 6th grade.  I have thoroughly enjoyed every year I have had the opportunity to work here at McElhinney.  The students are an exception to middle school.  As a whole, they are a group driven to succeed, but anxious to have fun.  This makes for a fun mix.

I began my teaching adventure in 1997 at an international school in Papua New Guinea teaching 6th grade students.  This opportunity lasted a semester.  Upon my return to the States, I was hired to teach 2nd grade in Hacienda Heights.  In 2003, my wife and I moved out to the Murrieta/Temecula Valley.  I have had the wonderful journey of teaching every grade level from 2nd through 8th.  I have found 8th grade science to be my favorite.
