Computer Science, Multimedia and MAC News

I have taught at DMMS for 10 years.  I have three boys; Mason is 23, has just graduated from the University of Hawaii and works at the Mazda Dealership.  Damian is 22, works for an Insurance company, and Jace is 18 and attends Murrieta Mesa High School.  When I am not teaching, you can find me at the gym, outside in my yard (I love plants and flowers), on a hike, or at the beach.

Teaching is my passion. My background is in child development, where I have spent all of my career working with children of all ages in various learning environments. It is important to create an environment in which students are motivated to learn. I believe that a teacher’s positive attitude is a chain reaction of positive thoughts, events and outcomes in the classroom.

My goal is to ensure that all students have the technological skills to be academically successful in the 21st century. In my classroom, we use Mac computers to do a variety of lessons and activities in video production and computer science.
