Mrs. Tera Schneider
Welcome to Mrs. Schneider's Page.
Originally from Long Beach, California, I was recruited to the University of Minnesota, a long time ago. I graduated with a major in Exercise Physiology with a minor in American Sign Language. Twenty-one years ago, I started my career in Minnesota at a school for students with severe emotional and behavioral disorders teaching high school science . I moved back to California in 2002, and began teaching at Bellflower High School in the RSP department. I taught READ 180 and Math intervention. In 2004, I moved to the Inland Empire and taught for 4 years at Centennial High School (Go Huskies!) in the Intensive Intervention program for students with severe emotional disorders. I taught 11 different core subjects while working at CHS. In 2008, I joined the Lisa J. Mails Middle School staff as an RSP teacher for 7th grade. I have been at DMMS since the school was built and officially opened in 2009. I have taught READ 180, Math Intervention, Study skills, and Math 7& 8 Basic at DMMS.
DMMS is a special place which provides opportunities for all students to learn and excel in core academics and the performing arts. I hope to provide students the opportunity to thrive in the classroom with the necessary supports. My goal is for our students to Lead the Way to High School prepared to achieve their goals and dreams.
