Hello, my name is Mrs. Lori Beckley. I have been teaching for 32 years, 25 of them in the Murrieta Unified School District. I have been teaching at Dorothy McElhinney Middle School for the past ten years and it has been an exciting adventure. I love teaching Middle School, as the students are amazing and so full of life. I teach Language Arts and Social Studies and find great joy in teaching both subjects. I look forward to encouraging my students to reach their full potential academically, socially and emotionally. I earned my Master's Degree in Curriculum & Instruction at Concordia University and I am always learning something new and exciting about the curriculum I teach. I enjoy reading all genres of books, traveling to third world countries as a volunteer and spending time with my beloved family and friends.
