• Community Career & Tech Expo 

    Community Career Tech Expo logo Parents and community members are invited to the Community Career and Tech Expo on April 12 from 5-7:30 p.m.  The Expo, presented by MVUSD, the City of Murrieta and the Chamber of Commerce, will be held at Murrieta Mesa High School, 24801 Monroe Avenue. 
     
    Students in the district's Career Technical Education (CTE) classes will be giving demonstrations and sharing how CTE classes have given them real-world job skills.  Students entering high school can explore the exciting classes and career pathways available to them including: engineering, manufacturing, CSI and law enforcement, computer science, cyber security, sports medicine, biomedical science, audio technology, multimedia and digital video production and more.   Read about the new CTE Building and see a list of all CTE classes.

     
    As part of the Expo, on April 12th, all district seniors will go to Murrieta Mesa to attend college and career workshops where they will meet with representatives from local businesses and gain valuable information about career opportunities in a large variety of industry sectors.   Richard Palmerin, the winner of the Community Career & Tech Expo logo contest, mastered computer graphic arts in two graphic design classes he has taken at Murrieta Valley High School.    
     
    Students will be able to select three presentations to attend:

    • Construction Trades
    • Hospitality
    • Real Estate
    • Sound & Video Production
    • Auto Dealers
    • Financial Institutions
    • Utilities - Water, Electric & Gas
    • Information Technology/Computers
    • MVUSD Human Resources
    • Community Colleges 
     
    FAMILY OPPORTUNITY
    Parents will have the opportunity to meet local businesses supporting the career choices of our youth.
     
    WHAT'S NEW IN EDUCATION 
    Parents will have the opportunity to meet educators and counselors for elementary, middle school, high school, and college bound students. Find out why MVUSD continues to be one of the highest performing districts in Riverside County.
     
    ENTERTAINMENT 
    Attendees will have the opportunity to take advantage of raffle items, and enjoy live demos from various vendors and manufacturing groups.
     
    LOCAL FOODS
