Coordinator of Social Emotional Supports
Yoana Armendariz, Student Support Coordinator. Yoana has been a key member of MVUSD for eight years. As a member of the mental health team, she works collaboratively with parents and service providers in removing academic, social and emotional barriers.
Her expertise in providing counseling and working with at risk students and their families allows her to successfully address the behavioral health needs of all students.
Yoana holds a Bachelor of Science in Counseling Psychology (CBU) and a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy (CBU). She also holds a Pupil Personnel Services credential with School Psychology authorization and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
