Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce Student of the Month
The Student of the Month Program honors accomplished Murrieta senior students. The goal is to celebrate and recognize local high school seniors for demonstrating character, integrity, love of learning, involvement in school activities, athletics, and community service or for their ability to overcome challenging life circumstances without compromising their education. The Students of the Month are students who make a difference in their home, school, and our community.
The selected students of the month are honored at a monthly breakfast at Sizzler in Murrieta where the student's nominating teacher, principal and family share personal stories and why the student was selected. Additionally, each student then shares their most important life lesson, how they plan to ‘pay it forward’ and stories of victory over challenging life circumstances. Each Student of the Month is eligible to compete for the honor of being named their school's Student of the Year. Students of the Year receive a college scholarship to the college, university, or trade school of their choice.
