• Superintendent's Bio

    Pat Kelley Pat Kelley began his career as a middle school teacher in Ramona Unified School District. Kelley came to Murrieta Valley Unified School District in 1991 and taught Language Arts and Social Studies at Shivela Middle School.  From there Kelley served as Coordinator of Child Welfare and Attendance and he went on to serve as Assistant Principal and Principal at Rail Ranch Elementary. He opened Buchanan Elementary School as Principal in 2001.

    In July, 2003, Kelley was appointed Director of Human Resources and in 2005 he was promoted to Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources. Kelley was promoted to Deputy Superintendent in June, 2012 and he was appointed Superintendent on September 27, 2012.  

    Kelley and his wife Kristi have four children.  Kelley earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of San Diego, a Master of Science from Purdue University, a Tier 1 Administrative Credential from Azusa Pacific University and a Tier 2 Administrative Credential from the University of LaVerne.
