Website Accessibility
At Murrieta Valley Unified School District, we seek to understand and respect the unique needs of our students and community. We are committed to the Website Accessibility Initiative and we are continually working to make district and school websites accessible to people with disabilities. Our goal is to have all content on our website conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, Level AA.
This policy applies to all new, updated, and existing web content. Accessibility checks are being conducted weekly and training is being provided to content editors. MVUSD is utilizing Site Improve, a website accessibility consultant who is responsible for conducting weekly website accessibility evaluations and providing training for staff.
In addition, MVUSD is working with third-party content providers so they are aware of our web accessibility policy and are taking steps to conform to accessibility guidelines.
If you experience difficulty with the accessibility of any web pages or documents, you may request the information in an alternative format at any of our school offices or you may request the information by emailing the district's Public Information Officer, Monica Gutierrez or call 951 696-1600 ext. 1022. Please provide the website address (or location) of the accessibility problem and a description of the problem.
