  • As the #1 ranked school district in Riverside County, we need facilities that match our high quality of education, supporting student achievement and educational excellence. MVUSD’s most urgent facility needs include:  

     

     

  • Update/Provide Career Technical Education (CTE)/Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math (STEAM) Facilities. Upgrade/add classrooms, labs, and training facilities that ensure an industry standard experiences to prepare students for career success. 

     

    Add Classrooms & Learning Spaces. Replace outdated science classrooms. Add an entirely new State mandated grade level for all four-year olds (Transitional Kindergarten) at 11 elementary campuses.  

     

    Replace Aging Portable Classrooms. Replace outdated portables with permanent classrooms to continue supporting high quality teaching and learning.  

     

    Renovate/Repair Deteriorating School Facilities. Leaky roofs, aging HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, etc. 

     

    Improve Safety/Campus Security. Upgrade fire alarms, emergency communication systems, electronic door locks, improved fencing, interior and exterior lighting, etc. 

     

    Ensure proper athletic and multipurpose facilities. Lighting, space, HVAC, and equipment; proper space to eat indoors during extreme weather conditions. 

     

    Expand schools. Accommodate new development and projected enrollment growth
