• Title III

     

    Title III funding is in place to ensure that Limited English Proficient/English Learners attain English proficiency, succeed in core academic subjects and meet the same academic content standards expected of all students. Schools apply for this funding by developing a plan for its use with the collaboration of parents and stakeholders.

     

    Funds must be used to develop, implement, embrace or expand high quality language instruction education; programs based on scientifically-based research focused on increasing English proficiency and academic achievement in core subjects. Districts must also provide high quality professional development for teachers, administrators, community and school personnel.
