• Board Policies and Bylaws

The Board of Education of the Murrieta Valley Unified School District is responsible for carrying out certain state and federal laws, rules, and regulations. The Board adopts policies and procedures to implement these mandates and communicate its direction for the operation of District schools.

Board policies and administrative regulations are reviewed and updated regularly to comply with current law(s). When changes in the law occur and when specific needs arise, the Superintendent or designee presents new policies, policy revisions, and the corresponding administrative regulations for adoption.

District Board policies and administrative regulations are based on sample policies and regulations prepared by the California School Board Association, a collaborative group of virtually all of the state's more than 1,000 school districts and county offices of education. The comprehensive index/table of contents is a standard index system designed by CSBA and is widely used by districts throughout the state.
