• 2021/22 Board Meetings  

    Board meetings are held in person in the Murrieta Valley Unified School District Boardroom, 41870 McAlby Court, Murrieta, CA and are open to the public. The meetings will also continue to be livestreamed and may be accessed via a link provided below.

    MODIFIED Public Comment procedure during COVID-19 Pandemic:

    Written Public Comment:  Individuals wishing to address the Board in writing are asked to submit their comments two hours prior to the start of the meeting. The written public comment  can be submitted by clicking this text or by sending an email with PUBLIC COMMENT in the subject line to jadiaz@murrieta.k12.ca.us.  If sending an email in lieu of completing the form, please be sure to include your name and reference the agenda item, if applicable, or subject matter.  A staff member will facilitate the reading of public comment submissions.  In accordance with Board Bylaw 9323, each individual public comment shall be allowed a three minute reading. The Governing Board shall limit the total time for public input on each item to 20 minutes. No action or discussion will be undertaken on any item not appearing on the posted agenda, except as authorized by law. (Education Code 35145.5)

    In Person Public Comment:  Individuals who wish to address the Board in person are asked to complete a “Request to Address the Board of Education” card located at the entrance to the Boardroom and submit their request to the Executive Assistant to the Superintendent & Board. Speakers shall be first recognized by the presiding officer at the designated time on the agenda. In accordance with Board Bylaw 9323, individual speakers shall be allowed three minutes to address the Board on each agenda or non-agenda item. The Governing Board shall limit the total time for public input on each item to 20 minutes. No action or discussion shall be undertaken on any item not appearing on the posted agenda, except as authorized by law. (Education Code 35145.5)

    A LINK TO THE LIVESTREAM BROADCAST OF THE UPCOMING MEETING WILL BE PROVIDED BELOW ON THE DAY OF THE MEETING

    Recordings of Board Meetings will be available for public view on the District YouTube channel for 30 days from the original meeting date.

    Public sessions for regular meetings are usually held at 5:00 p.m. at the District Support Center located at 41870 McAlby Court, Murrieta. Meetings are subject to change pending posting of the official agenda 72 hours in advance of the meeting.

    In addition to regular meetings, special meetings are held on an as-needed basis. The official agenda will be posted 24 hours in advance of the meeting. If held, these meetings are located at the Murrieta Valley Unified School District Support Center. The time and place of special meetings are subject to change pending posting of the agenda
