Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Oglesby

I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself! My name is Ms. Oglesby and I am your ASL 1 and/or 2 teacher for this year.  I am new to Vista-Murrieta High School. This is my second year here, like most of you as well. A little bit about me, I lived in Chicago for 10 + years where I worked as an EIPA & BEI certified/licensed interpreter for Deaf and hard of hearing students, staff, and individuals for more than 11 years. I have a Bachelor's Degree from William Woods University in Interpreting ASL-English. I am also, currently, in my Master's program, for my Master's in Education from Alliant International University. I am a mother as well, and have two sons, Jaylen, 20, and Amir, 17. I am a California native, grew up in, and graduated from Fallbrook, Ca. I will be providing many resources to make sure this year is as successful as possible. I am here for any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you need anything! I am really excited to have you in class and along for this ASL adventure!!
