BRONCO BOOK BARN
Stabling Knowledge
The mission of the Vista Murrieta High School Library is to create a supportive learning environment that fosters an appreciation of literature, information literacy, and lifelong learning.HoursMonday through Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Minimum Days / Finals: 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Our school library is more than just books. It's a learning hub with a full range of print and electronic media that support student achievement. These resources include books, magazines, audio books, e-books, computers, databases, and much more.
A current Vista Murrieta High School student I.D. card is required to check out textbooks and library books. Library books are checked out for a four-week period and may be renewed for an additional four weeks. Notifications are sent to all e-mails on file when a book is overdue.
The library has an electronic card catalog, which also provides access to academically sound websites that are linked to the school curriculum. In addition to fiction and non-fiction titles, students can access an online periodical database from the library, from classrooms, and from any home computer with internet access. The database contains full-text articles from current editions of newspapers and magazines.Textbook Opt-Out Form for History and Science Books
Parents/guardians may choose to have their students access our new history and science curriculums online at home instead of checking out a print textbook. Families choosing this option are responsible for providing their student with a device and reliable internet access.
