I grew up in Poway, San Diego, and graduated from the University of
California, Davis with a B.A. in International Relations and Spanish. I
lived in Spain for 1 year and worked in Venezuela  for the U.S. State
Department as an Embassy Intern- a fabulous experience. I also worked in Madrid

and Barcelona with Putney Student Travel, UCSD's Latin American Studies Program

and at a private school in San Diego . The Academic Year 2023 will be my

21st year of teaching. I have taught Spanish Levels I-IV and AP Spanish Literature.
