         Welcome to MVUSD’s Ballet Folklórico Program! Our mission as a student organization is to promote and share our Mexican heritage, culture, and history through dance and music to youth, peers, and adults in our community. Through our partnership with Mesa Murrieta High School and Murrieta Valley High School, your son or daughter will have the opportunity to establish friendships and experience peer collaboration that will further instill pride and respect for one’s heritage.               
   
Under the leadership of Adriana Alarcón, Director for Mesa Murrieta High School, your student will learn steps and practice dances from the various regions of Mexico during this first semester with the end goal of being performance-ready by the end of spring.  New to our program is the addition of a September, October and December shows.
