Welcome back Sophomores!
We hope you had an enjoyable and restful summer and that you are ready to begin your sophomore year. We look forward to continuing to build our relationship with you while supporting you as you continue to grow as a student and make plans for your future. Our goal is to ensure that all of the students we counsel have a well-developed ILCP (Individualized Learning & Career Plan) to achieve their academic, personal and career goals.
This year, we will continue to build upon your ILCP through experiences that will make sophomore year both successful and rewarding. Therefore, we have a few thoughts for you as you begin the school year.
- If you have not done so already, please join at least one school club, athletic team or other extracurricular activity. Involvement in an activity can make your time at VMHS more enjoyable, and it highlights your interests outside the classroom to future employers and colleges.
Let us work together to plan ahead and stay organized so you can reach your full potential. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at (951) 894-5750 or by email. Again, we look forward to continuing to work with you and your family.
Sincerely,
VMHS Counseling Team
