• Certificated Application Procedures

    Thank you for your interest in teaching in the Murrieta Valley Unified School District.  We place a high priority on placing properly credentialed candidates into open teaching positions.  The district offers competitive salaries and an excellent employee benefits package for all eligible employees.

    Our certificated hiring procedure is as follows:

    • Applications must be submitted online through the Edjoin website. 
    • When a fully completed application and supporting documentation is received, applications are reviewed, screened and applicants are selected for interviews. 
    • All applications are reviewed and it is not necessary for applicants to contact us to review their application. 
    • Panel interviews are scheduled as appropriate. Due to the large number of applications we receive, our office will only contact those applicants who are selected for an interview.
    • Interviewed candidates are notified of the interview outcome upon position selection.
    • Applications are kept in an open file until December.

    Please send the following documents when submitting your completed application:

    • Resume
    • Photocopy of all current credentials and/or Credential Recommendation Letter (issued by a college)
    • Photocopy only of transcripts (optional)
    • Letter(s) of recommendation from evaluating administrators (if possible)
