Murrieta Valley Unified School District has a program called Dollars for Scholars, which provides a centralized platform for scholarship offers available to its students. Murrieta Dollars for Scholars has awarded over $2.3 million in scholarships to more than 4,900 district graduates, helping them achieve their dreams of higher education.

To be eligible for these scholarships, seniors must have a minimum cumulative overall grade point average of 3.25 at the end of the first semester and intend to pursue higher education at a two-year community college, four-year university, technical, trade, or vocational school after graduation. Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, accomplishments, involvement, and merit. However, not all applicants are guaranteed to receive a scholarship.
